Old Kenneth Stone Quarry is located in France Park, a county park located in Logansport, Indiana.

Indy Dive Center and all scuba related activities are located along the western beach area and shoreline of the quarry.

Directions from the front gate: Make the first right and follow the road to the south, all the way down to the waters edge. We are the covered area just past the snack shack.

 Instructor Policies: 
  • Instructors are required to disclose when teaching to Indy Dive Center Staff. 
  • Instructors are to maintain direct control of students at all times. 
  • Immediate headcounts before and after every dive, as well as before and after any incident. 
  • In the event of any incident, classes are paused and students staged away from the incident area.

 

In Case of Severe Weather (Lightning, High Winds):

  • All diving is suspended immediately
  • Divers are recalled from the water and shoreline (We will use an underwater signaling device to recall divers from underwater.)
  • If necessary, move individuals to safe shelter
  • Resume activity after minimum 30 minutes without visible lightning or high winds
