Snorkel Workshop

The SSI Snorkel Diver program is the first step towards discovering your inner mermaid. It is the best way to learn how to snorkel and develop your confidence in the water, so you can go snorkeling and explore the mesmerizing landscapes and marine life of the ocean. You do not need to be a proficient swimmer to participate in the Snorkel Diver program and there is no minimum age to join in. You just need to be comfortable in the water, able to maintain your buoyancy and ready to begin the adventure of a lifetime!

FACTS AND TRAINING STANDARDS

Students should be fit to swim and comfortable in water too deep to stand prior to taking this course.

Medical questionnaire required prior to in-water training.

Required for this course: Mask, Snorkel, and Fins

Students are encouraged to bring their own mask, snorkel, and fins to ensure good fit and comfort with their own equipment, however we will provide rental mask, snorkel, and fins if students do not have their own. Wetsuits not included and run an additional $20 per day.

This is a great course for anyone who may have an upcoming trip or vacation or for those who may want to improve their skills and confidence in the water prior to signing up for a more advanced course, such as Open Water Diver.
