Learn how to become a mermaid with the exciting SSI Mermaid program! This mermaid training provides all the skills and techniques you need to maximize your mermaid experience, be truly comfortable in the water, get the most out of your equipment, and practice mermaid swimming safely.

Upon completion, students will earn the official SSI Mermaid Certification.

Class Schedule – 1 Class Orientation, 1 Academic Review Session, 3 Confined Water Training Sessions with a Certified SSI Mermaid Instructor

Prerequisites:

Minimum age for participation – 12 years old (Children between 6-12 years old are encouraged to take the SSI Try Mermaid program)

Mermaids should be medically fit to swim in a mermaid tail.

Must be able to swim 50 meters without any swim or buoyancy aids.

Must be able to complete a 5 minute survival float.
