DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Christmas Tree Sinking and Cold Water Dive!\n\nWe will open from 10am – 2pm on December 1st\, 2024 to enjoy some beautiful visibility in the chilly water\, enjoy the Paddlefish when they are a bit slower\, and sink a Christmas for the fish to enjoy. Some divers even decorate the tree with fish food. \n\nMinimum thermal protection recommended for this dive is full 7mm with hood and gloves. It’s a good day for dry suit! \nFull 7mm wetsuits are available for rent onsite for $20 per day\, however hoods and gloves are not available on site.\n\nHope to see everyone there so that we can tell you all HAPPY HOLIDAYS and THANK YOU FOR DIVING WITH US IN 2024!

DESCRIPTION:Tired of asking someone how much weight you need or being the first of the group to use all your air. Want to glide through the water and not be that diver that is constantly struggling to stay off the bottom? Then consider continuing your education with the IDC’s Perfect Buoyancy course. \n\nThis is not your standard Perfect Buoyancy course. The Indy Dive Center has tuned the course to provide you with the skills to finely control your buoyancy underwater. \n\nBuoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly\, use less air and ascend\, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this\, too. The SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates you to the next level. \nThe SSI Perfect Buoyancy program teaches you the skills and techniques needed to maximize your dive experience\, increase your comfort in the water\, and get the most from your equipment. You will earn the SSI Perfect Buoyancy Control Specialty certification. \nCourse Location:\nStudents meet at our Delphi development center and then head over to France Park for in-water training

SUMMARY:Opening Day for 2024 Season at France Park!
DESCRIPTION:Let’s do diving!\n\nJoin us for Open Day 2024 on May 4th!\n\nWe will be kicking off the season in Star Wars style. \n\nFrance Park Diver Check-in Process\nStep 1: Complete the “Divers Liability Release Form”. (Diveindy.com) This only needs to be submitted once per calendar year. This should be completed prior to arriving at France Park.\nStep 2: Enter France Park and pay county entrance fee. Proceed to the Indy Dive Center facility. Park automobile in designated parking area. Please do not stage gear prior to checking-in.\nStep 3: Enter dive facility to being the check-in process. Present “Certification Card”. If you are a student diver\, please inform a staff member that you are a student diver. (know who your instructor is) Pay your dive resort entry fee. You will be assigned a scuba diving kit-up station.\nStep 4: Stage gear to your assigned kit-up station. You are welcome to back down to the concessions stand and drop off scuba gear. Please be courteous to your fellow divers and unload your equipment and re-park your automobile as quickly as possible. Then come back and enjoy a day of diving with the Indy Dive Center.\n\nIndy Dive Center at France Park will be open on Saturday’s and Sundays from 8:00am – 5:00pm every weekend until the end of October.\n\nCheck our event calendar for other events coming up this season!\n\nGear rental is first come first serve.\nRental wetsuits are full 7mm.
