SUMMARY:Mermaid Meet and Swim
DESCRIPTION:Inviting all merfolk! \nJoin us at Indy Dive Center for a “Mermaid Meet Up!” \nMerfolk will have access to our confined and open water training areas to meet other mermaids\, show and “tail” all your new mermaid gear\, and make magic! \nMermaids will gather to: \n\nMeet other mermaids\nShow and “tail” about your new mermaid gear\nGo for a guided swim in open water with a certified SSI Mermaid Instructor\nMermaids with Open Water Training will also have opportunity to go for some “loggable” swim time (Ocean Mermaid or Advanced Mermaid Certifications required)\nOpportunities for photos in water\, at the water’s edge\, and access to the beautiful falls at France Park. (Safety first! Photos at the falls must have attendants or merwranglers to assist)\nPrivate access to training areas and platforms for staging gear and in-water activities. (Friends\, family\, and pets are asked to remain in the main beach area.)\n\n  \nMinimum age is 12 years old. \nParticipants must be able to swim (including in their tail)\, medically fit for open water mermaid activities\, and comfortable in deep water \nRegular gate fees and daily admission apply ($25) \nMermaids are asked to complete our digital waiver prior to arrival (same as our scuba diving waiver) \nNon-certified mermaids will be asked to use a floatation device for in-water activity. \nMasks and snorkels are required for open water mermaid swimming. \n

SUMMARY:Underwater Pumpkin Carving and Jack-O-Lantern Night Dive
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Indy Dive Center France Park on Saturday\, October 17th for one last night dive for the 2026 season! \nBring your own pumpkin and carve it (bring your dive knife!) on one of the platforms. \nWe will provide a weight and glow stick for you to leave in your Jack-O-Lantern and leave it on either our shallow\, or main lower training platform for other divers to view between 7-10pm. \nIt’s a spooky fun dive! \nDivers can go back to collect their pumpkins at the end of the dive\, or leave them and our team will collect the glow sticks (provided) and feed the remaining jack-o-lanterns to the hungry bluegill. \n(Fish love pumpkin!) \nWe will have a limited of pumpkins to share. \n  \nNight Divers are asked to have at least one flashlight and tank lights are requested. \nRegular admission applies for night diving. \nLet’s go diving! \n
