    Default Technical Gear Seminar

Mike and myself were tossing around having a little seminar for the club members and anyone else who has an interest or curiosity concerning all that gear technical divers carry. We will bring everything associated with our personal gear choices, as well as the reasoning behind our choices.

I was wanting to know who would be interested in coming to check it out and if any other tech divers within the group would be willing to bring in their gear.

We will bring in the gear we choose for Wreck, Cave, Sidemount, and OW tech diving. Including gear prep and what it takes to care for the gear. Drysuits, Deco bottles, doubles, regulators, dive computers, planning software, Oxygen compatibility, scooters, guidelines, liftbags, lights and whatever else we can think of. I'll bring my dive trailer that is used as a platform for expedition diving.

The date will be decided upon in the next week or so once Mike and I get our schedules together.

I'd be willing to participate in the show-and-tell, but I can't imagine I have any tech gear that you and Mike don't already have covered.

It's the subtle differences between the gear that tell the tale. I can't imagine that yours is the same as mine or Mike's.

Would this be somthing you would want to do at a club meeting? If so when does it need to be held?
Staying wet is a state of mind and in my case a way of life. Scuba Gear for all levels of diving!

We talked about doing it at a meeting, but didn't want to try to dictate the schedule so we just put a feeler out. It's up to you if you'd like to have us at a meeting. I was told the last Tech seminar was well attended and many Rec divers learned cool things they could adapt to their own gear.

I think the members would really enjoy understanding about all the tech gear. It's not all that often recreation divers get to experience and learn more about what goes into becoming a true Tech diver. I think it sounds great!

Now here's a small problem. I have the March meeting fully booked and the next club meeting after that is May. Do you think May is to far off? I don't want to cause you guys any delays.
